moriartysskull: I really love this pic. It’s some kind of ideogram for Benedict Cumberbatch’s self-conception as an actor. Even given the stupid little fun job of posing as a mannequin for Spencer Hart in a shop window, he does everything to make it an unforgettable, original, brilliant piece of acting. Look at the perfect posture, the bland face, the body tension… it’s as if his body would actually feel like plastic if you’d touch him.  I love his humility towards his profession and his audience. He always takes seriously what he does, he always does the best he can do. He really is an inspiring example for every actor. I’ve been one, so I dare to say so.
